International Congress Center Burgas was awarded the prestigious award "Building of the Year" in the category "Projects related to urban development - urban environment and culture." The recognition came from the 31-member jury of the national competition "Building of the Year", consisting of prominent representatives of professional and creative circles.

The official ceremony for awarding the winners of the most popular and prestigious competition in the field of investment projects, construction and architecture in our country was held on December 21, 2020 in the hall of the Sofia Opera and Ballet in compliance with strict anti-epidemic measures. The prize was given to the Director of Branch – TD "Port of Burgas" of the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company (BPI Co.) – Ivaylo Ivanov.
