Currently, on the territory of the Area there are four vessel’s berths (from first to fourth position) and emblematic for the city facilities – a coastal center for vessel traffic management and information services, a yacht club, a Passenger Terminal for cruise ships, the children’s science museum “PlanetUm”, the oldest port warehouse “Magazia 1”, which is transformed into a center with marine motifs and accommodates a recreation zone with restaurants, cafes and shops. “Marina Burgas” hotel with its restaurant and office spaces is also located in the Public Access Area. The construction of the International congress center Burgas is the latest step taken by Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company and a part of its mission to turn the Port of the city into a modern European harbour.

Intermodal connectivity is incorporated – between the Railway Station, the Bus Station “South” and the Passenger Terminal. This communicative location provides direct access to main transportation arteries, to bus stations linking many destinations in the country and to the urban transportation system. There is an access control in the Area, as well as parking spaces and bike stands.
