BURGAS HONORS SOCIAL WORKERS ON WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY

 

On March 17, 2026, on the occasion of World Social Work Day, a ceremonial awards event will take place in Hall “Foros” at the International Congress Center Burgas, dedicated to recognizing the people working in the social sector who care for the most vulnerable members of society.

During the event, individuals and teams will be honored for their contribution to supporting children, elderly people, people with disabilities, families at risk, and others facing difficult life situations.

Awards will be presented in 14 categories, including “Home of Support,” “Protection and Development,” “Connectivity,” “Leadership – A Light for Others,” “Shield in the Storm,” “Spark of Hope,” “The Protector,” “The Voice that Inspires Change,” “Quiet Strength,” “A Heart Without Borders,” “Teamwork – Unity, Rhythm and Synergy,” and more.

The initiative aims to give well-deserved recognition to social workers and professionals who often remain outside the public spotlight, yet contribute every day to improving the lives of many people.
