Pediatricians from all over the country gathered in Burgas for the XIX National Pediatric Scientific and Practical Conference, which took place on June 26 – 27 at the International Congress Center Burgas.

The event was organized by the Pediatric Society of Burgas with the assistance of Municipality of Burgas as a part of the efforts to improve the quality of children’s health care in the city. During the conference, the scientific evidence for the rational use of antibiotics in children was discussed.

During the last few years, antibiotic use has been an ever-increasing topic within the World Health Organization. That is the reason why this year’s annual pediatric conference was also dedicated to this issue.
